VICTREX AM™ 200 is a high-performance PAEK polymer that has been designed for extrusion-based 3D printing from the ground up. It belongs to the same family of materials as PEEK but has way stronger interlayer bonds due to slower crystallization rate. This is why parts 3D printed with VICTREX AM™ 200 have very low anisotropy with Z-axis tensile strength exceeding 60% of the tensile strength measured in the X/Y direction. The material is thermally stable with melting temperature of 304 °C and glass transition temperature of 156 °C.
Annealed parts 3D printed with VICTREX AM™ 200 exhibit mechanical properties comparable to parts made with PEEK. Slow crystallization rate of this material is also a factor limiting warpage which translates into higher achievable precision and level of detail in 3D printed models. Best for printing precise, heavy duty parts that need to be exceptionally strong in all directions and work in thermally challenging environments.
