3D Printed Dancing Robots

The world moves forward at an impressive pace due to rapidly developing technology. The engineers search for reliable tools that will allow them to speed this process up even more. 3D printing is a perfect solution for robotics and automation as it offers the possibilities of creating, testing and improving prototypes rapidly and efficiently while keeping the whole development process in-house. These KUKA-inspired robots clearly present the opportunities of incorporating the technology into the field of automation and robotics. The robots were 3D printed on Zortrax M200 in Z-ULTRAT and Z-ABS, the use of these materials ensures their durability. Each fully functional robot is equipped with a mechanism designed by Zortrax and consists of 18 elements, which are perfectly suited due to M200’s high dimensional accuracy. The robots can be programmed or steered and rotate in 360.
