The first edition of the 3D printing Picnic was held during the 13th and 14th of May at the Science and Technology Park in Ełk. The 2-day event was attended by hundreds of visitors from all around the region. Organizers had provided a wealth of activities related to 3D printing technology; the main attraction being the construction of a 2-meter tall miniature replica of Ełk’s historic water tower – created entirely using 3D printers.
Visitors also had the chance to admire an entire 3D printing exhibition as well as other attractions such as electric cars and specially illuminated paragliders. Zortrax’s M200 3D printers were also present at the event, printing out interesting projects throughout its duration.
The 3D Printing Picnic turned out to be a huge success. We hope that future editions will attract even more modern technology fans and 3D printing enthusiasts from all over Poland.
Educating and supporting local markets and communities has been an important aspect of Zortrax’s businesses activities, right up from its very founding moment. Zortrax’s M200 3D printers are present in 180 public institutions such as schools, libraries and cultural centers all throughout the Masovian Voivodeship.
